Elena Arreguín Osuna

Elena Arreguín Osuna, Mexican by birth, studied Communication Sciences at the Universidad Anáhuac México Norte. She obtained her voice over license in 1994. In 1996 she published articles and interviews in Playboy magazine. A year later, she began writing columns for El Universal, El Economista, El Financiero and El Reforma for almost three years.
Later she worked in the script of the programs "Hechos de la Mañana", "Ciudad Desnuda" and "Evidencias" on the television station TV Azteca.

In 2012 she published her first novel: an autobiography entitled “Hunger, Bullying and other types of abuse. Bulimia"; the same year she published the science fiction novel “The Ice Bridge”, based on the Mayan prophecies of the End of the World.

In 2014 she published the first part of the children's trilogy "The Children of the Sun".

In 2017 the second part of "The Children of the Sun" was released. The same year, Elena released "The Millionaires of Christ. The Downfall", a novel based on real events that exposes the abuses committed by the Legionaries of Christ within their schools and universities in Mexico and in the world.

In 2018, the National Comission of Women awarded her the National Prize for Women for "her career in communication and as a writer in favor of women and Mexican traditions."

Elena is dedicated to promoting her books through interviews, conferences and book fairs. Elena has given interviews in WFM, El Economista, El Reforma, Revista CENTRAL, NOTIMEX, Radio IMAGEN, Radio Fórmula, Tele Fórmula, and on different television programs, both in Mexico and abroad. In October 2020 she published "The Children of the Sun III", the closing of the trilogy.

Currently the author is working on "The Millionaires of Christ. The Failure" and her first thriller "Luca".
